Greve in Chianti
Wedding in Tuscany, Italy – K&F
A wedding in Tuscany, Italy, a wedding in the land of wind of the sun made by a special relationship between man and nature.
Tuscany it is a treasure of my country, It is a region that gives prestige to entire Italy, a place that has the power to let you feel the silence and a strong sense of inner peace.
A wedding in Tuscany for me has meant a unique travel experience to that places presents in my imagination thanks to movies seen, paintings observed and books read.
In “Much ado about nothing”, a Kenneth Branagh‘s film, from the novel of William Shakespeare you can see a particular Italian villa where some action of the movie happens.
This place has got a name, an Italian villa called “Villa Vignamaggio”. Here K&F decided to celebrate their wedding with an outdoor ceremony, a connection between an Italian wedding and an English wedding in the middle of Tuscan hills.
A ceremony “en plain air” with a soft, warm Tuscan breeze for friends and relatives.
Villa Vignamaggio, Chianti
Villa Vignamaggio is an amazing place. I can say that i felt it so connected to my idea of Tuscany’ countryside: and for sure it didn’t disappointed my expectations. The Chianti region ant its hills is a splendid and unique setting to live a love story, to live a wedding. As a main charachter but also as a guest I would say.
Music alternate to silence in the moments together. Away from the reception, in the same venue, the sound of footsteps of K&F was accompanied by distant laughter and voices.
They walked close together in the villa’s gardens with a synchronous step as a way to underline the beauty of walk together in this life.
Their guests were making the speeches that had to be held in the evening and the English wedding tradition wants this. I observed the Tuscan hills.
Chianti’s hills are full of grapes and vines and their shapes are simply amazing. There are a lot of amazing places to celebrate a wedding in Tuscany; you can always be sure to find great Wine and a warm welcome.
The legend wants that Leonardo da Vinci for the background of his masterpiece “Monna Lisa” took inspiration from the memories of these hills because of the shapes.
I saw evening comes upon the intimacy of this day. Soft light through the hills and consequently a permanent sense of beauty surrounded everything.
