Wedding guests portraits
The wedding guests portraits are an important part of the consistency of my work.
These are unposed moments determined by the light and by my attention to some expressions, feelings and sights.
Sometimes wedding guests traveled a long way to be there giving to the bride and the groom with their friendship, laughs and fun.
In these years I worked in my home country, Italy, in the country where I currently live, United Kingdom, and throughout Europe becoming a destination wedding photographer.
In my travels to reach the couple I lived in many was the feelings of wedding guests come from far away.
By feeling this on my skin during the day I’m looking at the guests because I want to give to my clients memory of friends, parents and people who are there celebrating their wedding. Now I understand this important part of my work much more, since I’m based in London and I often travel to Italy everything is clearer.
Unposed Portraits on a wedding day // A relationship with the subject
Unposed portraits are a solid part of my interest.
Light on a face can make magic and once light meet feelings, emotions, sights that moment could define properly a portrait.
Sometimes happens something different and I can say that a relationship is established with the subject and in those cases the portraits became more intense.
I do think that photography, every kind of photography, is about relationship.
A story of love is made by the main characters together obviously but as a storyteller I cannot forget the whole world that, on the wedding day, surrounds the bride and the groom. A world made by faces, by sights, by the guest, by the people that a bride and a groom want by their side on that date.
